The Hollywood fantasy film ‘Black Panther’ is arguably one of the best films produced by Marvel Studios. Much to everyone’s expectations, ‘Black Panther’ opened to rave reviews all over the world and has been shattering box-office records since then. But what if we told you that ‘Black Panther’ and ‘Baahubali’ have an interesting connection?
Yes, Winston Duke, who played the iconic M’Baku in ‘Black Panther’, is apparently a huge fan of our very own fantasy drama ‘Baahubali’ series, directed by SS Rajamouli.In a recent chat show, Winston Duke went on the record saying that he’s an ardent follower of Bollywood cinema since childhood. True to his words, Duke recently posted screenshots of ‘Baahubali’ on his Instagram stories with the caption ‘King’.
Winston Duke’s Instagram pictures were shared by Baahubali’s official Twitter handle which reads, “Hey @Winston_Duke, thanks for your love for our #Baahubali films and Indian Cinema... Glad you loved them! We absolutely enjoyed your M'Baku role in #BlackPanther. Looking forward for #AvengersInfinityWar.”

Replying to the Baahubali team, Winston Duke said, “The pleasure is all mine. Thank you for the masterpiece.”

Made on a lavish budget, ‘Baahubali’ tells the story of the rivalry between two cousins Amarendra Baahubali and Bhallala Deva, played by Prabhas and Rana Daggubati respectively. Both ‘Baahubali 1 & 2’ have received an overwhelming response from the audience all over the worldwide.
Last year, ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ broke several box-office records and became one of the highest grossing films ever. The film also stars Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
