After mostly seen so far playing romantic roles,
actor Druva Sarja
will be seen playing a character with negative shades in
Nanda Kishore’s next project titled
Pogaru
. The actor has become choosy with his scripts and wants to move away from doing regular rom-com or commercial ventures, we hear.
Touted to be an
action thriller
, the film is scheduled to hit the screens on February 19, 2021. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjay, Raghavendra Rajkumar, P Ravi Shankar, Kai Greene, Sadhu Kokila, Kuri Prathap, Morgan Aste, Dharma, Mirnalini Ravi and Mayuri Kyatari. The marks the Sandalwood debut of Rashmika Mandanna. Bankrolled by BK Gangadhar under his Sri Jagadguru Movies banner, Chandan Shetty will compose the music, while Vijay Milton will crank the camera.

has gone viral on the internet and has kicked up a storm in India. It has been viewed on YouTube more than 194 million times and has been received 1.3 million likes so far. The song is about a young woman who has been teased by a rough guy. It has been sung by Anurag Kulkarni and lyrics penned by Bhaskarabatla Ravi.
Druva Sarja also has a project titled Dubari with director Nanda Kishore. Tipped to an action entertainer, the upcoming film features Sreeleela, who made her acting debut in Bharaate.
