Maniratnam’s Telugu dubbed Tamil film Ponniyin Selvan is one of the most anticipated films in Tamil cinema. The makers are promoting the film equally well in Telugu states too and the film is getting a Pan-India release on September 30th.

The film is being presented to the Telugu audience by popular Telugu producer Dil Raju and the film is carrying a decent buzz in Hyderabad too. By now the makers have reportedly locked their movie’s highest possible film ticket prices in Hyderabad and it turned out to be Rs 295 at Major Multiplexes in Hyderabad, the makers shouldn’t increase the price more than this.

Lately, higher ticket prices have become a curse to the Industry as not many are coming to the theatres due to increased expenditure to watch every big film in the theatre moreover sooner or later digital OTT platforms are releasing the movie with the same quality. 'Ponniyin Selvan' bookings has opened now for all its versions.

'Ponniyin Selvan' is a 2 cinematic parts epic period action feature film that is written and directed by Mani Ratnam based on the Ponniyin Selvan Novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy

The film has an ensemble star cast from Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, and Jayam Ravi to Karthi, Trisha, Sarath Kumar and others. The film’s music was composed by AR Rahman, while it is edited by A.Sreekar Prasad.

The film was shot by Ravi Varman and will be released on 30th September 2022, across the globe.

Hope the ace director Money Ratnam has found his mojo and has made a great film this time around. His recent films have come up to be duds. The story of this film is based on one of the greatest emperors of India, from the deep south, who had been hitherto ignored by our previous leftist family based governments. It is through films that the South needs to enlighten the nation about the glory of their past!
