Prabhas fondly recalls Sirivennela Sitaramasastri’s iconic lyrics on 'Na Uchhwasam Kavanam'

Prabhas recently shared his fond memories of the legendary lyricist Sirivennela Sitaramasastri during an appearance on the show 'Na Uchhwasam Kavanam'. In the episode, Prabhas spoke about the experience with the celebrated lyricist, whose songs have resonated across generations.

During the show, anchor Parthasarathy prompted Prabhas to recall his first encounter with Sirivennela while discussing the iconic lyrics from Prabhas's debut film, 'Varsham'. Prabhas humorously admitted that he initially struggled to grasp the deepness of Sirivennela's poetic lyrics, particularly when he penned "Ee Varsham Sakshiga." In a lighthearted moment, Prabhas suggested that a simpler line like "I love you, Sailaja" might have worked better with the tune.

The actor expressed his admiration for Sirivennela’s work and how he often praises the lyricist.

As Prabhas celebrates his 45th birthday today, he continues to be one of the most bankable stars in Indian cinema. He was last seen in Nag Ashwin's mythological sci-fi action thriller, 'Kalki 2898 AD' and is currently working on a horror-comedy film titled 'The Raja Saab', which is still in production and directed by Maruthi.

Apart from that, he also has multiple projects in his pipeline including 'Salaar 2' continuing the Khansar saga. He will be collaborating with the 'Aminal' director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for 'Spirit' donning the role of a cop. He is working with the 'Sita Raman' fame Hanu Raghavapudi.
