'Prati Roju Pandage': Five reasons why you should watch Sai Dharam Tej, Raashi Khanna and Satyaraj starrer

Director’s Maruthi’s Sai Dharam Tej, Raashi Khanna and Satyaraj starrer ‘Prati Roju Pandaage’ is hitting screens this Friday. Expectations on the film are high thanks to Maruthi’s previous films ‘Mahanubhavudu’ and ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’. Sai Dharam Tej’s last film ‘Chitralahari’ was a hit too and Raashi Khanna has her hands full of projects with the recently released ‘Venky Mama’ and the upcoming ‘World Famous Lover’ too. Director Maruthi
Maruthi, who made his debut with ‘Ee Rojullo’ has carved a niche for himself with his brand of films. Despite his films having subjects that rise above the usual Tollywood tropes, he manages to pad it up with commercial elements, making them a fun watch. The same is expected from this film too.

The cast
While Sai Dharam Tej, Raashi Khanna and Satyaraj play the lead characters, the film also stars actors like Rao Ramesh, Murli Sharma, Satyam Rajesh, Hari Teja and more in key roles. And with a cast like that, it is only natural that the expectations are high for this one. Sai Dharam Tej plays the role of a grandson and Satyaraj his grandfather, and the story revolves around the duo.

The story
Moving beyond the commercial tropes, the story of ‘Prati Roju Pandaage’ revolves around a grandfather who’s dying and a grandson who comes back to India to help him live happy the rest of his days. The film will see them crossing off things on the old man’s bucket list together and learning that life is meant to be celebrated while at it. With a story like that, it’s only natural to expect that the film will be heart-warming.

Thaman S’ music and BGM
Thaman S has his hands full with multiple music projects and the composer has proven time and again he excels at composing music for commercial projects. The film’s music has already won over hearts of fans and with Thaman known specifically for making good BGM, this will be one to watch out for. Especially with the kind of emotional content the film has, it remains to be seen how Thaman has prepared the tunes.

The feel-good factor
Above it all, despite the almost morose subject of a lead character nearing death, Maruthi has assured that the film will be entertaining above all. And with Raashi Khanna playing a TikTok queen in the film, it gives enough scope for drama and laughs. The trailer too hints at the film being a light-hearted entertainer.
