Virata Parvam
has also been unveiled and she perfectly fits the bill as Comrade Bharathakka in the Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starrer.
Meanwhile, it’s already evident that the Telugu remake of
Asuran
is titled as Narappa and Victory

is stepping into the shoes of Dhanush. While Priyamani is reprising
Manju Warrier’s role from the original, Kollywood beauty Amala Paul is likely to essay a crucial role. Directed by ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ fame Srikanth Addala, the shooting of the film kicked-off in January at Uravakonda in Anantapur district.
Priyamani is essaying the role of a typical village woman in the rustic-actioner and she looks picture-perfect in the released still.
According to reports, a high-octane action sequence has already been canned on Venkatesh & Co at the Theri Kaadu desert which spans over 12,000 acres. Terming it as a major highlight of the film, stunt choreographer Peter Hein mentioned that the shooting is a thrilling experience for both the F2 actor and him. Narappa is jointly bankrolled by original producer Kalaipuli S Thanu and Suresh Babu under Suresh Productions and V Creations Banner.
Opening up on the negative comments for Asuran remake, Venkatesh said that a number of people from the film fraternity have advised him not to do the film. “People have doubted my ability in the past too. But it took me just half an hour to decide about doing this film,” he said. Admitting that remake films constitute 99 per cent of his success, the 59-year-old actor stated that Asuran is the right film for him after F2 and Venky Mama.
