Priyanka Chopra calls working with Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran a privilege; Nick Jonas REACTS
Priyanka Chopra is soaring with excitement as she officially begins promotions for 'Varanasi', SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated epic starring South Indian powerhouses Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Priyanka Chopra has shared a set of stunning photos on Instagram, beaming beside her co-stars as they posed for the international media. Dressed in a sleek black sheer shirt and skirt, the actress radiated confidence while the two leading men stood on either side.
In her caption, Priyanka couldn’t contain her admiration. “Working alongside these two legends of the Telugu and Malayalam industries, and coming together for an SS Rajamouli film, is already such a privilege,” she wrote. She also highlighted the mounting global curiosity around the film: “On top of that we’re promoting our movie with the international media, almost a year ahead of its release! Seeing their reactions and the anticipation building is exciting to say the least. By God’s grace, we will live up to your expectations. Jai Shri Ram.”
Priyanka’s husband, Nick Jonas, continues to be her biggest supporter. Minutes after she posted the photos, he dropped a short yet impactful comment that instantly grabbed attention: “Once again… damn.”
Interestingly, the majority of comments fixated on Mahesh Babu’s youthful looks. Fans wrote, “Why does this guy not look like he is 50?”, “Mahesh Babu would have been a better choice than Ranbir Kapoor for Ramayan.”, “Who’s going to believe that he’s 50 already?”
Just days earlier, Priyanka had the Hyderabad crowd roaring during the Varanasi title and first-look reveal at the GlobeTrotter event. Speaking about Mahesh Babu, she said:
“You know who I am going to talk about, right? What do you call him Bob or Lion? … I know him as MB. I know him as the incredible, legendary Mahesh Babu.”
