'Pushpa 2' OTT release: Fans react to 'Flying and Biting' fight scene in the film; call it "cringe"

Allu Arjun's starrer blockbuster film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule,' directed by Sukumar, made its debut on OTT just two months after its theatrical release. This unexpected digital launch allowed movie enthusiasts to enjoy the film from home. With its digital release, 'Pushpa 2' has led to mixed reactions on social media. While some viewers enjoyed the film, others criticized it as a cringefest.

As the film is now available for streaming, viewers are sharing their humorous takes on the sequence. Speaking about one particular scene that has captured the internet's attention is an action sequence where Allu Arjun, portraying Pushpa Raj, defies gravity while fighting off villains. In a scene, Pushpa's hands and legs are bound by ropes, yet he manages to launch himself into the air, using his legs and even biting his opponent's ears and later wielding a sickle knife in his mouth. This over-the-top action has led to mixed reviews, with some fans praising its audacity and others mocking its unrealistic portrayal.

A social media user wrote, "I couldn’t stop laughing when he straight up launches himself into the air, moves around like a boomerang, and starts biting everybody while his hands and feet are bound."

'Pushpa 2: The Rule,' directed by Sukumar, is a sequel that follows Pushpa Raj's rise in the red sandalwood smuggling world.
