'Radhe Shyam' Box-office collections Day 1: Despite mixed reviews, the film earns Rs.48 crores

Despite ‘Radhe Shyam’ receiving mixed reviews from the audience from all corners, the film is reportedly expected to perform well at the box office. The film has reportedly minted over Rs 48 crore in India net on its first day across all the languages. This shows the star power of Pan-India star Prabhas post his stupendous success of 'Baahubali'. The film reportedly had 76% occupancy in its Telugu release whereas a little less in the other language versions of the film.
As per the few reliable sources, the film has reportedly earned the below figures in Telugu states (in rupees) on its opening day.
Nizam: 10.50 Crores
Ceded: 3.70 crores
Guntur: 2.60 crores
Krishna: 0.95 crores
Nellore: 1.08 crores
The film has reportedly minted over Rs 28 crores in Telugu states, whereas in Hindi it made over Rs 4.8 Crores Nett on Day 1
In Overseas, the film has minted over $1Million in US alone whereas, in Australia, it minted over 1.13 Crores. In some areas, the film has also reportedly become the biggest opener of the year creating new records.
‘Radhe Shyam’ is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and the film is jointly bankrolled by Pramod Uppalapati and Vamsi Krishna Reddy of UV Creations along with a T-series. The film was released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages that also starred Pooja Hegde as the lady lead. Bhagyashree Patwardhan, Sachin Khedekar, and Murali Sharma in other important roles.
