The actor got married to his fiancé over the weekend at a star hotel in at Madhapur in the city, and the

wedding

saw his closest friends and family, including a few Tollywood celebs in attendance. The intimate soiree also saw directors Vamshi Paidipally, Trivikram Srinivas, Srikanth Nagothi, apart from producer Allu Aravind and more in attendance. Trivikram was spotted even wearing a maroon mask to match his traditional sherwani. All the festivities took place keeping in mind the

Covid-19

norms with limited guests, sanitisers,

masks

and social distancing followed.

The bride and groom looked beautiful in their wedding outfits, with Raja opting for a pattu pancha and kandva to keep things traditional. Himabindu opted for a red pattu saree with gold detailing that she paired with a matching blouse. They were all smiles as the muhurtam drew close and finally tied the knot after the jeelakarra bellam ceremony. Close friends and family of the couple blessed them on the happy occasion and wished them well on social media.

The last few days saw Raja Chembolu getting wedding ready by celebrating his last days of bachelorhood with his friends and a pelli koduku ceremony. He shared pictures happy that #BinduGetsHerKing, looking dapper in a white kurta pyjama, paired with a foliage print Nehru jacket for his pelli koduku ceremony. He even posed for pictures with his mom and dad and shared a few fun pictures from his wife Himabindu’s pelli kooturu ceremony too.


Talking to Hyderabad Times in August when he got engaged, Raja had said, “It’s going to be an arranged marriage. The alliance was fixed by family friends. I’ve known Bindu only for a couple of months now but she’s already bowled me over. I just love the person she is.” He had also hoped for things to get better by his wedding date when he said, “It’s a special occasion and we want to celebrate with all our loved ones. I hope things get better by October so we can have the wedding we always dreamt of.”
