, a remake of Kollywood superhit film Ratsasan, will be unveiled on
July 18
, 2019.
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas
reprises the role of Vishnu Vishal, while
Anupama Parameswaran replicates the character of Amala Paul in the Telugu remake. In addition to Sreenivas and Anupama, the film also stars Saravanan, Kaali Venkat, Yasar, Abhirami, Ramdoss, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Usha Elizabeth, Suzane George and Nizhalgal Ravi in prominent roles.
Rakshasudu revolves around a psycho who suffers from 'Anti-social personality disorder' and how a sub-inspector (Sreenivas) cracks the case while facing a personal tragedy. Directed by Ramesh Varma, the suspense thriller has music composing by Ghibran and cinematography by Venkat C Dileep. Satyanarayana Koneru and
Ramesh Varma Penmetsa have produced the movie under the banners of A Havish Production, Abhishek Pictures. Rakshasudu is slated to hit the screens on August 2, 2019.
