Rakul Preet Singh has made a name for herself not just in Telugu film industry, but also in Tamil, Hindi and Kannada.

She started her career as a model while still in college and made her acting debut with the Kannada film ‘Gilli’ in 2009. In 2011, she made her Tamil and Telugu debut with the films ‘Thadiyara Thaaka’ and ‘Keratam’. She made her Hindi debut with the film ‘Yaariyan’, in which she was appreciated for her acting.

Being a part of films like ‘Venkatadri Express’, ‘Bruce Lee’, ‘Nannaku Prematho’, ‘Dhruva’ and ‘Spyder’, she has worked alongside some of the top names in the industry and managed to hold her own. A fitness freak and a style icon, what many don’t know is that Rakul Preet Singh was a golf player who even played at national level.

Rakul Preet Singh had always dreamt of being an actress and had once said that she had joined the South Indian film industry for a ‘little extra pocket money’, not really knowing how big the whole industry was. Be it the role of the glam doll or the langa voni wearing girl-next-door, Rakul has managed to play them all with elan, earning her place in the industry through the years.

Her next film ‘Khakee’, ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ in Tamil, with Karthi is all set for release on November 17.
