Rakul Preet Singh reveals she is soon set to make her Telugu comeback!

Rakul Preet Singh is gearing up for the release of her next 'Indian 2', which is set for its big and grand release in theaters worldwide on July 12. Directed by Shankar, the movie stars Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, SJ Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in lead roles. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the movie is the sequel to the 1996 cult classic drama.

In an Ask Me Anything session on Instagram, actress Rakul Preet Singh revealed that she misses her Telugu fans and wants to make a comeback to the Tollywood film industry soon. The actress said, "I'm just waiting for the right script; it may be something that's exciting because I feel the part of me, which is the Telugu Ammayi, is really missing Telugu now, so hopefully soon. I am reading a couple of things, hopefully soon.

Rakul Preet was last seen in the Telugu film 'Konda Polam' starring Vaishnav Tej as the lead. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film was released in 2021. On the work front, Rakul was last seen in the Tamil film 'Ayalaan', and following 'Indian 2', she has two more Hindi films in the pipeline that include 'De De Pyaar De 2' and 'Mere Husband Ki Biwi'.
