Ram and Puri Jagannadh's iSmart Shankar shoot begins with release aimed at May

The shoot for Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh’s exciting upcoming film ‘iSmart Shankar’ kickstarted recently.
“isssssshhhtttaaarrtttt camera! From today! #iSmartShankar,” (sic) wrote the lead actor on Wednesday, sharing a new poster for the same. Actress turned producer Charmmee too shared the news on her social media and wrote, “Shoot istart #ismartshankar. Massive schedule begins from today..aiming for May release. @ramsayz @purijagan @puriconnects #PCfilm” (sic)
The film that is aiming for a release during summer in May, was launched on Wednesday at a muhurat that saw Ram come in his ‘double dimaak Hyderabadi’ avatar. The actor, who was last seen in ‘Hello Guru Prema Kosame’ is seen sporting a more ‘mass’ look in printed shirts and torn jeans while sporting facial hair and a spiky hair-do. Also seemingly always with a gun in tow, the first look poster of the film was received extremely well by fans.
‘iSmart Shankar’ will see music by Mani Sharma and cinematography by Raj Thota. The film will also star Puneeth Issar, Sathya Dev, Milind Gunaji, Ashish vidyarthi, Get-up Srinu, Sudanshu Pandey, Madhu Singampalli, Kuldeep Singh and Deepak Shetty in key roles. It remains to be seen who will play the female lead in the film.
