Ram Charan starrer 'RC16' team welcomes THIS 'Mirzapur' star aboard in the film

Ram Charan is currently working on his upcoming film 'RC16' sharing the screen with Bollywood's Janhvi Kapoor. The film directed by 'Uppena' fame Buchi Babu Sana, is currently in development, and the director shared an exciting update regarding the newly added member of the team who is another Bollywood actor.

Buchi Babu Sana took to social media to welcome 'Mirzapur' fame Divyendu Sharma to the team, sharing a poster of his character and expressing enthusiasm for their collaboration. On X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "Our Bhayya… Your Bhayya… MUNNA BHAYYA! Welcome onboard dear @divyenndu brother Let’s rock it"

Divyendu gained significant fame in 2018 from his character Munna Tripathi from the action thriller web series, 'Mirzapur' where he became a fan favourite in the show. He got his breakthrough role in the 2011 romantic comedy 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama'. Following this success, he appeared in several films, including 'Chashme Baddoor' and 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'.

While details about the official title of the film are still under wraps, reports suggest that 'RC16' will be a sports drama set in coastal Andhra. Ram Charan has been preparing for this role by building a lean and muscular physique, indicating that physicality will play a significant part in his performance.

The film has already begun shooting, with the first schedule commencing on November 22, 2024, in Mysore.

The film will also feature Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in a pivotal role. The music for RC16 will be composed by the musical genius A.R. Rahman.

On the other hand, Ram Charan will be next seen in the upcoming political drama film, 'Game Changer' directed by Shankar.
