Ram Charan’s wife Upasana and newborn twins leave hospital amid heavy security post fan chaos incident
Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela's twins were discharged from the hospital amidst tight security, ensuring privacy after an earlier fan mob incident. The family opted for a quiet exit to protect the newborns. Meanwhile, Ram Charan's upcoming film 'Peddi' has a new release date, shifting from March 2026 to April 30, 2026.
Star couple Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela recently became parents to twins a girl and a boy. Upasana Konidela was discharged from the hospital today on Thursday and it was a calm and quiet exit rather than being crowded by the fans. The family wanted peace and privacy for the newborn babies after Ram Charan was mobbed by fans with their first daughter, Klin Kaara, earlier when entering the hospital.

Strong security arrangements

A video shared by the Instagram handle artistybuzz showed strong security at the hospital gate. Barricades were placed near the exit. Many security staff were seen standing and giving directions. They had made sure that no one came close to the family and the couple with their newborn were safely guided towards their vehicle.

Reason behind the tight control

The tight security was arranged because of what happened earlier this month. After the news of the twins’ birth came out on January 31, many fans gathered outside the hospital on February 1. When Ram Charan came with his daughter Kaara to visit Upasana and the twins, fans crowded around them. Ram and Kaara were mobbed. The situation became unsafe and uncomfortable. Fans were also criticised for bursting crackers and making loud noise outside the hospital.
This could disturb other patients who were resting inside. Because of all this, the family decided to keep things very controlled during the discharge.

Ram Charan’s next film ‘Peddi’

On the current work front, Ram Charan is gearing up for the relesae of his next project ‘Peddi’. The movie was earlier announced to relesae on March 27, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday. However, the film is now set to hit the screens on April 30, 2026.Earlier, it was expected to be a part of a big movie clash, including Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ and Yash’s ‘Toxic’.
