Arjun has been deeply close to his mother and after she passed away, he misses her immensely. Recently in a new post, Arjun penned an emotional note to his mother on her birth anniversary. He reshared a collage made by a fan club and penned a note which read, "Happy birthday Maa, I miss you so much today. Life’s been kinda cruel to me lately but it’s okay… I’ve taken the punches before, I’ll take them again and still rise. Because you taught me how to fight by standing up to life head-on while being graceful and dignified through it all. We will ride it out together, you and I. I’ll see you again someday and we’ll celebrate your birthday together. Your loving son, Arjun.” The post quickly drew an outpouring of love from members of the film fraternity. Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurrana, Sanjay Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Kareena Kapoor Khan reacted with red heart emojis. Genelia Deshmukh also left a reassuring note, writing, “All will be good, Arjun. You have your own special angel always looking after you.”Among those who responded was Arjun’s former partner, Malaika Arora, who reacted with a red heart emoji. Although the two ended their six-year relationship in 2024, they have continued to maintain a respectful and cordial bond. In recent interactions, Malaika has referred to Arjun as an important part of her life, and the duo have often been spotted sharing a warm equation in public. They have continued to remain friends and he was there by her side even when her father passed away. Fans also rallied behind the actor, calling for empathy and urging others to refrain from trolling or posting insensitive remarks.
