Ram Gopal Varma REACTS to Amitabh Bachchan touching 'Kalki 2898 AD' producer's feet: 'I have never seen Big B do this to other producers'

The makers of 'Kalki 2898 AD' hosted a grand pre-release event in Mumbai on June 19, where Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone were seen showcasing a unique rapport.

During the event, Mr Bachchan touched producer Ashwini C Dutt’s feet after receiving the first ticket for the film from him. His simple and humble move won social media, and now director Ram Gopal Varma has reacted to the incident.

RGV took to his X account to share his thoughts about it. He wrote, “Here is the UPPER LIMIT of achievement for Ashwini Dutt by Amitabh Bachchan doing this. I doubt from N T Rama Rao onwards till the latest young heroes anybody would have done this. I have never seen Big B also do this to any other producer. Hats off to Dutt Garu.”


Ram Gopal Varma and Amitabh Bachchan have worked together in several films like the 'Sarkar' trilogy, 'Rann', and 'Nishabd'. They share a true bond with each other. But Ram Gopal Varma often shares that he has a professional connection with Amitabh Bachchan and does not share a close bond with the Bachchan family.

In 'Kalki 2898 AD', Amitabh Bachchan will play the role of Ashwatthama, and his outlook from the trailer thrilled fans and movie buffs. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie will hit theatres on June 27.
