Later, he revealed that the same was a promotion for a film called

Thank You Brother

when he launched the title poster. The coronavirus

pandemic

delivered a massive blow to the world economy and the entertainment industry. Director Ramesh Reparthi is one of them who used their time in lockdown judiciously to come up with a film that is a fictional retelling of the events during the

corona

pandemic.

The title poster is an intriguing one that sees a closed elevator with a discarded

mask

on the floor and the image of a pregnant woman in the title. The title poster made fans guess on what the film’s story could be all about. Anasuya Bharadwaj plays the lead role in the film, ably supported by Viraj Ashwin in a crucial role. The film is touted to be a ‘drama laced with thrilling moments’.

Magunta Sarath Chandra Reddy and Tharaknath Bommireddy are jointly producing the film which also stars Viva Harsha, Archana Ananth, Anish Kuruvilla, Mounika Reddy, Adarsh Balakrishna, Kadambari Kiran, Annapurna, Bobby Raghavendra and Sameer. Sharing the title poster, Rana revealed that director Ramesh is actually his old friend. He wrote, “Presenting to you “TYB” wishing the director and my old friend Ramesh and his team all the very best.” (sic) Also sharing a

throwback

picture of them both, he wrote, “From random

short

form to serious cinema...we’ve come a long way...my best to you champ. @Raparthy #ThankYouBrother.” (sic)

Further details of the film's shoot and release are awaited.
