According to a close source, Rana and Ravi Teja will work together in a film to be directed by the famous Tollywood director. If all goes well, the film is likely to start in

. For the unversed, the film is a remake of Malayalam hit film
Ayyappanum Koshiyu
, the rights of which have been acquired by
Sithara Entertainments
. It is learnt that the actors fall in love with the script as soon as they heard the narration. However, an official confirmation about the film has not been made yet.
On a related note, Ayyappanum Koshiyu is an action thriller that starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in the lead. Directed by Sachy, the film tells the story of a cop, Ayyappan who clashes with Havildar Koshi, a man with a motive. Neither side is willing to move in what becomes a battle of the egos. Ranjith, Gowri Nandha, Anna Rajan, Anil Nedumangad and Sabumon Abdusamad played the pivotal roles.
