Rana Daggubati who is playing an important role in Venu Udugula’s Virata Parvam has wished the director on his birthday.
Rana posted a picture with Venu Udugula on his Instagrma story and wrote, “Happy Birthday Venu Udugula. Have a great year” (sic)
Virata Parvam also has actresses
Sai Pallavi and Priyamani along with Rana Daggubati. The film is the story of a Naxal movement that took place in Telangana in the 90s. Speaking about the film in an earlier interview, Venu Udugula had said, “ I grew up in Warangal and have watched many movements closely. Virata Parvam is one film that brings to life the story of the people who fight for what is right. I had a lot of questions about them since childhood and I am making this film to find answers to those questions. The movie reflects the environment that I grew up. I am excited to show this film to the audience but the ongoing lockdown to combat the
coronavirus pandemic has stalled the shoots. Shooting worth ten days remains to be completed. We need around 300 people on set to complete the shoot so we cannot shoot at the moment.” Venu Udugula has been keeping busy on the work front as he has another OTT series to direct once he is done with Virata Parvam. “My web series is going to be based on ‘Maidanam’, a Telugu book written by the famous author Chalam. This is one of my dream projects. I am already in discussions with some top heroines to finalise the cast” he revealed.
