The wedding of actor Vijay Deverakonda and actress Rashmika Mandanna has become one of the biggest celebrations in the country.

Following the intimate wedding ceremony the couple is set to host their grand reception in Hyderabad on March 4.

The reception was initially designed as an ultra-exclusive, invitation-only affair. The couple planned to welcome leading personalities from the Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries. Select figures from political and administrative circles were also on the original list.




However, reports from Great Andhra website says that after consultations with officials the administration advised tighter restrictions. Reports say that the Police officials recommended reducing the guest count to avoid large crowds, traffic issues, and potential safety risks. The couple agreed to the revised plan reportedly.

Couple and authorities unite to ensure smooth celebrations

The administration is working closely with the couple’s team to manage the event without complications. The objective is to allow the celebration to continue while keeping safety at the forefront. The couple has not considered cancelling the reception. They emains committed to meeting well-wishers in a secure setting.



Reportedly, authorities have also clarified that entry will be strictly limited to those holding valid invitations. Officials have requested that those without official invites avoid visiting the venue. They noted that access will not be allowed under any circumstances.

Reception venue revealed through leaked invite

Despite the tightened security and reduced guest list, celebrations remain elaborate. As reported by Filmibeat, according to a leaked wedding invite, the reception will be held at the luxurious Taj Krishna starting from 7:00 PM onwards.

Ahead of the reception, Rashmika visited Revanth Reddy at his residence on Sunday. She was accompanied by her family team as part of the post-wedding formalities.

During the visit, she met the Chief Minister’s wife, Geetha Reddy, and their daughter. Visuals from the meeting show Geetha offering her blessings to the newlywed actress. The invite extended by Rashmika reaffirmed the couple’s intention to maintain personal ties with key leaders in Telangana.

Temple visit and nationwide sweet distribution

Earlier in the day, Vijay and Rashmika offered prayers at a temple in Hyderabad. The gesture was part of a spiritual post-wedding routine.

Simultaneously, their team carried out a large-scale distribution of sweet boxes across 23 major Indian cities. Thousands of boxes were shared with the public.
