Rashmika Mandanna calls working with Salman Khan "Nerve-Wracking"

Riding high on the consecutive successes of 'Animal' and now 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' Rashmika Mandanna has become one of the most sought actresses in the film industry. As she celebrates her recent releases, she has multiple projects ahead for her eyeing a blockbuster reception for them as well. The "National Crush" is also set to star opposite Bollywood's Bhaijaan Salman Khan. During a recent interview shared her experience calling it "Nerve Wracking"

While having a chat with Pinkvilla, the 'Misson Majnu' actress, when asked about her experience with shooting with Salman Khan. She called it "Nerve Wracking". She said, "He's Salman Khan (excitedly)." She also mentioned Salman Khan a fun actor who creates a fun and joyous atmosphere on the set by cracking jokes and being always a high spirit.

She further shared that it is the first commercial Bollywood film that she'll be doing. She further said, "All my Hindi films have got a performance-oriented screenplay, but this is the first time I’m actually going to become a heroine, so I'm really excited."

She also added that she doesn’t want to be typecast. "I don’t want to be only taken for the performance. I want to be a part of full-blown commercial cinema as well. I want people to know that they can bank on me for that as well," she said.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film will be a mass entertainer film. It is set for a Eid 2025 theatrical release.

Speaking of her upcoming films, after reprising Srivalli, Rashmika will be seen in multiple Bollywood films, including 'Chhava' alongside Vicky Kaushal, 'Sikandar' and 'Thama' which will be a horror comedy film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana. The film is expected to be from the same 'Stree 2', 'Bhediya' and 'Munjya' universe.

She will be also leading 'Kubera' starring Dhanush and 'The Girlfriend'.

Rashmika also hinted about Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Animal Park', the second installment of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal'. She stated, "It's gonna be madness all over again."
