Rashmika Mandanna shares birthday post for Sukumar, posts Pushpa 2 BTS picture

The much-anticipated sequel 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, has proven to be a massive success at the box office since its release on December 5, 2024. Directed by Sukumar, the film has shattered numerous records and emerged as a cultural phenomenon in Indian cinema.

Amid this success, filmmaker Sukumar celebrated his 55th birthday on January 10, 2025. Rashmika Mandanna took to her Instagram stories to share a heartwarming photo from the film's set, capturing a candid moment of Sukumar sneaking up on her while she was resting. In her post, she expressed her affection for the director and shared how much she misses him. The Srivalli actress's caption read, "Happiest birthday @aryasukku sirrrrr! I miss youuuuuu. Now I have many nice photos of you.. but I loveeee this one Cz this is just soooooo you!"

Rashmika has previously expressed gratitude for her experiences while working on 'Pushpa', reflecting on her long association with the franchise. She posted several behind-the-scenes photos that showcased memorable moments with the cast and crew.

In India alone, the film has earned approximately Rs 1,438 crore, surpassing 'Baahubali 2’s Rs 1,416.9 crore. The film's remarkable performance highlights its widespread appeal and the effectiveness of its storytelling.

Despite its phenomenal run at the box office, 'Pushpa 2' is now facing competition from newly released films like Ram Charan's 'Game Changer'.
