Ravi Teja commences shooting for his next film with Sarath Mandava

After

lockdown

was lifted in Hyderabad, some of the Tollywood celebs have gone back on sets. Ravi Teja also resumed

shooting

on Thursday for his next with director Sarath Mandava.

Filming has begun in Hyderabad where the team is canning important sequences with Ravi Teja and other cast members. The filmmakers made the announcement with a poster that sees the actor with his back faced to the camera. A board shows it’s the executive magistrate office while an old letter in the background is of someone swearing in as a government official. On the desk lie a typewriter and other paraphernalia which hint that maybe the film will be set in a different era.


Billed to be a unique

thriller

, the yet-to-be-titled film is inspired by true incidents. The film will see Ravi Teja in a role he has never played before, sporting a whole new look. Divansha Koushik of Majili fame will be his co-star in the film produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas LLP and RT Teamworks.

Sam CS

is composing the music for the film which will see Sathyan Sooryan as the cinematographer and Praveen KL as the editor.

Nasser, Sr Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh, Rahul Rama Krishna, Eerojullo Sree, Madhu Sudan Rao, Surekha Vani and others play key roles in the film. Ravi Teja’s last film Krack was a massive hit despite releasing during the pandemic. He will soon be seen in a film called Khiladi too. Further details are awaited.
