Ravi Teja to play cop in Race Gurram writer Vikram Siri's film?

Vikram Sirikonda, screenplay writer for Allu Arjun-starrer Race Gurram, will be directing Ravi Teja's next film. Tipped to be an action-entertainer, the film will have the Mass Maharaja playing a 'badass policeman', yet again.

'Vakkantham Vamsi has penned the story of the film. It's a cop-drama which is centered around a larger-than-life policeman. The actor loved the characterisation, which is unlike any cop role he has played before. He is very excited about the film and is likely to begin shooting for it soon. The makers are in the process of completing the pre-production,' informs a source close to the development. It may be recalled that Ravi Teja hasn't had a great run at the box office since tasting success with Balupu in 2013. We will have to wait and see if Vikram Srikonda will help turn things around for the actor, who made the headlines for opting out of three films in the last few months.
