Ravi Teja's upcoming project features six heroines in the cast? Here's what we know

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja was last seen in the mass entertainer 'Mass Jathara'. The movie received a mixed response from the fans and now the actor is looking forward to his upcoming projects. Being early in pre-production, multiple rumours regarding the film have been surfacing on the internet.

Rumours about the cast

Rumours have been making the rounds on the internet that the movie is expected to feature six heroines. However, 123 Telugu reported that the team has firmly dismissed all unverified rumours, requesting the audience not to believe speculative reports until the production house makes an official statement. According to the portal, the makers plan to reveal updates only when the time is right, and discussions are still underway.

One of the biggest rumours attached to the project suggested that Samantha Ruth Prabhu would be headlining the film alongside Ravi Teja. However, a new report states that Samantha is not part of the film after all. Instead, the makers are said to be considering Kollywood actress Priya Bhavani Shankar for the leading lady's role. However, no casting decision has been officially confirmed either.

Some reports also indicated that the upcoming film is expected to be directed by Shiva Nirvana, though that too has not yet been formally announced.

Ravi Teja's next project

Meanwhile, Ravi Teja is currently busy filming his next release, 'Bhartha Mahasayulaki Wignyapthi', directed by Kishore Tirumala. A family drama that is slated for a grand theatrical release during Sankranthi 2026. The makers recently dropped the first song, 'Bella Bella', and the track has been receiving overwhelming love from the audience.

About 'Mass Jathara'

Speaking of his last film, it was directed by debutant Bhanu Bogavarapu, featuring Ravi Teja as an honest railway policeman, Lakshman Bheri who takes on drug lord Sivudu in a tribal area while aiding locals against exploitation. The film also starred Sreeleela as the female lead.
