The release of Varun Tej and Saiee Manjrekar’s upcoming sports drama Ghani has been deferred yet again. The makers of the film announced on Tuesday that they have decided to postpone its release to avoid a clash with Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati's

Bheemla Nayak

this Friday.

Taking to social media, the makers wrote, "We are overwhelmed with the love you are showering on #ghani your encouragement motivates us to keep moving forward with faith in these tough times. As #BheemlaNayak is going to hit the cinemas on Feb 25th. We are pushing the release of #Ghani new release date will be announced soon(sic).”
The Ghani team wished lots of success for Bheemla Nayak and hoped that would set the box-office registers ringing once again in Tollywood. "We are equally excited as fans and ready to experience the power storm of powerstar Pawan Kalyan garu. On big screens (sic)," they added.

Directed by Kiran Korrapati, Ghana is touted as an intense sports drama, in which Varun plays the role of a kick-boxer. For this role, the actor received training under British athlete Tony David Jeffries, who had won the bronze medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Saiee Manjrekar is playing the female lead in this film and Jagapathi Babu will play the role of Varun Tej’s coach.
