RGV’s bilingual ‘Bhairava Geetha’ to release in Hindi & Tamil

The fascinating trailer of ‘Bhairava Geetha’ which released last month has garnered glowing praises from netizens for its intense action, passionate romance, and rustic backdrop. Presented by maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, the rural drama is helmed by his protégé Siddhartha who is making his directorial debut. Inspired from real-life incidents, the Telugu – Kannada bilingual narrates the story of an aggressive henchman named Bhairava played by ‘Daali’ Dhananjay, who falls in love with a traditional and beautiful girl in the village named Geetha portrayed by Irra Mor.
If reports are to be believed, the makers of Bhairava Geetha have decided to dub & release the film in Hindi & Tamil languages. They feel that the universal subject will appeal to pan-Indian viewers. This much-hyped film is expected to hit the screens on October 26, a week after Dussehra.
Cinematographer Jagadeesh Cheekati has perfectly captured the soul and essence of this intense thriller in each and every frame, with a stirring background score composed by Ravi Shankar. After Ajay Bhupathi who worked with RGV as an AD, delivered a path-breaking blockbuster ‘RX 100’ in his first attempt, it remains to see whether Siddhartha can follow his footsteps.
