RX 100 girl Payal Rajput bags an action-packed role

After a bold, negative role in the surprise blockbuster

that made her an overnight sensation, Payal Rajput is flooded with offers. She has given her nod to a couple of Telugu and Punjabi films after much consideration. “I have finalised three films, one of them being a Telugu film by director Bhanu Shankar. This is a total contrast to my character in RX 100. It’s a bold and challenging role. I play a girl who is firm in her
decisions and goes by her instincts. I am sure people will definitely see a new Payal,” she reveals.

Elaborating more on the film, Payal adds, “We are all so busy in our lives that we don’t think about others. but my character in the film is not like that. She stands up for what is right. Never mind if it’s a goonda or a minister, she will raise her voice if there is injustice. It’s a role that I am very kicked about and I can’t wait for the film to go on floors. The makers haven’t finalised the male protagonist yet, but we’ll start shooting for it by the end of September. I’ll be taking training in sports like kabbadi as I also have a few action
sequences in the film.”

Meanwhile, Payal is also shooting for a couple of films in Punjab now. “I am shooting for Mr & Mrs 420 Returns, while I’m in talks for one more Telugu film, which will be on a lighter side,” she reveals,
