At just 23, Sujeeth made his directorial debut with ‘Run Raja Run’ and scored a super success in his maiden outing. Starring Sharwanand, Seerat Kapoor and Adivi Sesh in lead roles, the comedy-thriller received rave reviews both from the critics and common audience. Thereafter, he teamed up with ‘Rebel Star’ Prabhas and helmed the pan-Indian action-thriller ‘

Saaho

’ which raked in massive numbers at the worldwide box-office. Despite garnering unfavourable reviews, the film did create an impact and Sujeeth was applauded for handling some big names in the Indian film industry like Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay, Chunky Pandey, Tinnu Anand and others.

After two years, Sujeeth has finally signed his next directorial. He will be joining hands with Zee Studios for their upcoming project and it is touted to be a high-voltage drama filed with thrilling action episodes and powerful emotional sequences. Opening up on the same, the director said “I’m very excited to work with Zee Studios on this new project.'Saaho' was an out-and-out action movie. But this time I’ll be playing with the emotional angle too in addition to the power-packed action sequences. Can't wait to kick-start this one.”

CEO of Zee Studios, Shariq Patel said in a statement “It gives us immense pleasure to associate with the super talented Sujeeth for the upcoming project. He has written a taut thriller with a strong emotional core, and as a studio, we are extremely excited to bring this to life on the big screen. His vision and technical expertise will ensure the film is amongst the most visually spectacular film of 2022.”

was supposed to direct the Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘

Lucifer

’ with Chiranjeevi as the main lead. However, due to personal reasons, he backed out of the project and Mohan Raja replaced him.
