The success and widespread acclaim of Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ extends beyond the star value of Rebel star Prabhas and the star-studded cast, highlighting the impactful screen presence of actress Sriya Reddy. She has garnered countless praise following the film's release and Salaar marks a powerful comeback for her.

In an interview with indiaglitz, Sriya shared her insights about Salaar. Sriya Reddy revealed that she foresaw the emergence of a pan-Indian movie like Salaar in her life a decade ago and had been patiently waiting for the right time. Her character in Salaar, Radha Rama, made a significant impact on the audience and the actress was appreciated for her rough and tough attitude along with her bold appearance.


Furthermore, Sriya mentioned that she informed Prashanth that she wouldn't settle for a small role and insisted on having a prominent position in his movie. Sriya expressed gratitude to him for getting her out of her comfort zone. She appreciated the arrogant and poignant characteristics of Radha Rama. Prashanth reportedly guided her that Radha Rama never smiles, and she commended his brilliant treatment of a female character with such depth.

Sriya also emphasized her desire to make an impact with her movies and stressed the importance of this comeback movie, stating that she doesn't believe in doing mainstream roles. Instead, the actress promised herself that her character should be well-crafted, even if it only involves two or three shots in a movie. Sriya also praised Prabhas and his acting skills. She found his act too handsome and thrilling to handle.


Post Salaar, Sriya is set to appear next in Pawan Kalyan’s ‘OG,’ directed by Sujeeth. She expressed her excitement about this upcoming venture and shared that she was having a great time working with Pawan Kalyan.
