Samantha bags her fifth Filmfare Award!

South actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s maiden OTT project ‘The Family Man – 2’, which was well received by the Indian audience and was a smashing success online, has garnered tremendous applause for her portrayal of the complex Raji character. She played the role of an LTTE suicide bomber for which she won the award in the Best Actress category.Sam has flown over to Mumbai to receive her award and take part in the awards ceremony.This is her fifth Black lady at the Filmfare Awards for various segments. She shared the same on her Instagram page. Earlier Samantha has won Black ladies for ‘Best female debut’ for ‘Yem Maya Chesave’, and ‘Best Actress Filmfare awards for ‘Eega’, ‘Neethane En Vasantham’ and ‘A Aa’.Samantha has an exciting line-up of films now. Right away, she has ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ though she isn’t the main lead but is doing a special item number in the film. Post that, she has Tamil ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ where she plays Khatija and the Telugu film ‘Shaakuntalam’ where she is playing the titular role.
