Samantha Ruth Prabhu has kickstarted the Navaratri festivities in Coimbatore, and shared pictures of the same on social media. This comes amidst the controversial remarks of Telangana minister Konda Surekha on Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya’s divorce.
On Thursday, October 3, the ‘Citadel’ actress shared pictures of herself where she is seen offering prayers to Linga Bhairavi Devi at Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation in Coimbatore and commencing the Navaratri puja.
In the pictures, Samantha is seen dressed in red, offering prayers. She captioned it, “I took your word for it. Thank you Devi!
After facing flak over her comments blaming opposition BRS leader K T Rama Rao for the divorce of actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya, Telangana Minister Konda Surekha on Thursday withdrew her comments. However, on Thursday, Nagarjuna on Thursday filed a defamation case against the minister.
