Sandalwood Smuggler Pushparaj (on screen) wins back to back awards and this time ‘Indian of the year’!

Allu Arjun receives the #IndianOfTheYear media award, he is said to be the first south Indian actor to do so. Hosted by a National Media House, the award was given by the Ministries of Women and Child Development and Ministry of Minority Affairs and a prominent BJP Politician, Smriti Irani.

The Pushpa actor has reportedly dedicated his award to all the covid warriors, the actor, who brought people back to the theatres with his film ‘#Pushpa: The Rise’ called it a win for Indian cinema.

We have seen the actor’s film sweep most of the awards at the recent Filmfare South 2022 as well and now the above award. On the work front, the actor is currently filming the sequel of the film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ and he hasn’t announced any other new film yet.

The second part of the above film will be reportedly releasing next year and although the makers have shot a few scenes already the director has reportedly announced a re-shoot of the entire film as the initial script was altered.

Rashmika Mandanna is confirmed as the lady lead in the sequel too. While Fahadh Faasil will be doing a pivotal role. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek will be cranking the camera, while Successful music composer Devi Sri Prasad will be taking care of its music.

The film will be edited by two editors Karthika Srinivas and Ruben while the film will be jointly funded by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media.
