'Savyasachi': Five reasons why you should watch Naga Chaitanya, Madhavan and Nidhhi Agerwal starrer

Chandoo Mondeti & Naga ChaitanyaThe duo comes together after their 2016 hit Telugu remake of the Malayalam film ‘Premam’. While the idea to remake such a classic film was met with disdain from some hardcore fans, the two managed to pull it off and deliver a hit. So, it remains to be seen if the two recreate their magic for this one.




Madhavan’s Telugu debutChandoo Mondeti revealed to Hyderabad Times that there was a time when Madhavan believed he would never act in a Telugu film because he didn’t know the language and didn’t believe he could give it his all. But seeing as how he chose what is said to be intriguing role of an antagonist to make his debut in Telugu cinema, a first for him in any language, it remains to be seen how the cherubic heartthrob will pull off the role.

MM Keeravani’s musicMM Keeravani who last composed music for the ‘Baahubali’ series and RGV’s ‘God, Sex and Truth’ composed music for this one. Keeravani is lauded as one of the best composers of Indian and South Indian cinema, and he composed seven songs for this album, with the lyrics penned by Ananta Sriram, Ramajogayya Sastry and Veturi Sundaram Murthy. He even composed a remix of Nagarjuna’s hit song ‘Ninnu Road Meedha’.




The conceptChandoo Mondeti and Naga Chaitanya told Hyderabad Times that the concept of the film is one that has never been tried before in Telugu cinema. ‘Savyasachi’ runs on the concept of vanishing twin syndrome, something that has never been explored before. However, taking cinematic liberty, the director seems to have blended in the concept of alien hand syndrome too is something many fans noted.

Bhumika Chawla & Nidhhi AgerwalWhile Bhumika Chawla will have a short, unrevealed role in the film, Chandoo had revealed that she will make her presence felt. Nidhhi Agerwal, who was previously seen in Hindi film ‘Munna Michael’ with Tiger Shroff will also be debuting in Telugu cinema. Chandoo revealed to Hyderabad Times that Nidhhi will play the role of an antique store owner in the film and will be a massive support system to the hero’s character.
