Second part of NTR biopic likely to get postponed?

It’s already evident that Krish & Co has wrapped up shooting for the first part of NTR biopic titled NTR Kathanayakudu. The film is currently in the post-production phase and as announced, it will release on a massive scale on January 9 as a Sankranthi treat to all Telugu viewers. Several stars in present-generation Tollywood are reprising popular characters which had a notable relationship with the legendary actor-cum-politician Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR), arguably the most charismatic leader on Telugu soil.
Reportedly, the second part of NTR biopic titled NTR Mahanayakudu is likely to get postponed. Crucial sequences during the political tenure of NTR like the Chaitanya Ratha Yatra are yet to be shot and considering the heated situation in the Telugu states, the makers are hesitating to proceed with the shoot in certain towns & villages. Balakrishna and Krish are also in no mood to compromise on the film’s output by rushing through the shoot. They want to take their time and leave no stone unturned in making the flick a memorable one.

However, as this is a mere speculation, an official confirmation regarding the delay of the film’s release is awaited from the makers.
While Kathanayakudu focuses on the inspiring journey of how NTR born into an agriculture family strived hard to become a superstar and demigod in Telugu cinema, the sequel Mahanayakudu showcases his achievements in the political arena like becoming the Chief Minister barely 9 months after forming the party and his path-breaking welfare schemes.
