Sekhar Kammula lashes out at Sri Reddy, threatens legal action for harassment allegation

into frenzy by hinting at Sekhar Kammula’s involvement in the scandal.

Soon, Sekhar took to social media to lash out at Sri Reddy (indirectly) for alleging that he had sexually harassed her, with a post of his own. In a series of tweets he rubbished the allegations and threatened to take legal action against the actress.

"Yesterday, a social media post maligning me came to my notice. It is vulgar, demeaning and full of lies. It has caused deep grief to my family, to me and many more who value me," Kammula tweeted on Tuesday.

“I could never imagine in my wildest dreams that a woman whom I don't know, have not seen or never spoken to in person or on the phone can suddenly make these baseless allegations. (sic)” he wrote.

“Whatever might be their intentions and whoever might be involved in thisdiabolic act , I would like to say that it is WRONG, IMMORAL andCRIMINAL (sic),” he tweeted.

“People who know me and my work would be aware of the kind of importance Igive to equality of women and their empowerment. I live by my CHARACTERand die by it. I will not spare anyone who tries to point fingers atit. (sic),” he wrote

Asking the actor to apologise, he wrote, “APOLOGIZE and take back every word that was posted against me or beready to face legal action, which will include criminal/civilproceedings. (sic)”

Responding to Kammula’s tweets, Sri Reddy said that she was not afraid of facing the law, and would not bow down to the ‘money power’. She also said that she has proofs and she will proceed legally.
