Sekhar Kammula's father Seshayya passes away

We have unfortunate news for you. Filmmaker Sekhar Kammula’s father Kammula Seshayya died on Saturday morning due to age-related ailment, the sources confirmed.
According to sources close to the family, Seshayya was reportedly admitted to a private hospital, and his treatment was going on. He was not keeping well for a long time and passed away around 6 AM today.His last rites will reportedly be performed at Bansilalpet cemetery, Hyderabad on Saturday evening. It’s terrible to hear about their loss, and we extend our most sincere condolences to the entire Sekhar Kammula family. May his soul rest in peace.
On the professional front, Sekhar Kammula, who helmed films like Anand, Godavari, Happy Days, Leader, Life is Beautiful, and Fidaa will be directing his next movie titled Love Story. Starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, the film is being bankrolled by Narayandas Narang and P Ram Mohan Rao under the banner of Amigos Creations in association with Sree Venkateswara Cinemas. Touted to be a romantic drama, the film also features Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali and Devayani in significant roles. Pawan Ch is composing music while Vijay C Kumar will be handling the cinematography. Marthand K Venkatesh is in charge of editing.
