Sequel to blockbuster horror comedy ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ launched

It’s been five years since we saw director Maruthi’s blockbuster film ‘Prema Katha Chitram’. We’re finally getting a second instalment to it now, with a recent report saying Sumanth Ashwin is on board with the horror comedy.
A sequel to the horror comedy is set to be filmed and it was launched on Thursday in Hyderabad. Hari Kishan has agreed to direct this flick which is bankrolled by Sudarshan Reddy under the banner of RPA Creations.While senior director Sagar has given the first clap, Amarendar Reddy switched on the camera and Akhil Reddy directed the first shot.
‘Prema Katha Chitram’ has set standards for horror comedies in Tollywood and it has become the biggest hit of all time in the horror comedy genre. The main pillars of the sequel are cinematographer C Ram Prasad, editor SB Uddhav, music composer JB and dialogue writer Chandrasekhar. Ayush Reddy and Akshith Reddy are the co-producers of the film.
