Nikhil Siddharth starrer Karthikeya 2
went on to the floors today in Tirupati. The official pooja, which happened on Monday, was attended by the cast and crew of Karthikeya 2. The film will be bankrolled jointly by Abhishek Agarwal's Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and Vivek Kuchibhotla and TG Vishwa Prasad's People Media Factory.
Chandoo Mondeti who helmed Karthikeya is wielding the megaphone for this venture.

, had Nikhil Siddharth in the lead role and Venkat Srinivas had bankrolled the venture under his home banner Magnus Cine Prime Pvt. Ltd. The film was a big hit of his career, and after five years, a sequel to it is being made. The film starred Swati as Nikhil's leading lady with the star cast also including Tanikella Bharani, Rao Ramesh, Kishore, Tulasi, Praveen and Shankar Melkote in supporting roles. Its technical crew comprised Shekar Chandra for music, Karthik Ghattamaneni for cinematography and Karthika Srinivas for editing.
The team has finalised young music sensation
Kaala Bhairava to compose tunes for the film.
