Shriya Saran, the bombshell of the South Indian film industry, is a name that resonates with many.

Sexy, smart and beautiful, Shriya is the perfect girl many envision. Reluctant to reveal anything about her private life, the beautiful lady devotes her time to charities when she’s not busy shooting. In fact, Shriya is an accomplished dancer who would often incorporate social issues into her performances, be it Kathak or Rajasthani folk dance.

It was in 2001 when she first featured on-camera in Renoo Nathan’s ‘Thirakti Kyun Hawa’. When Ramoji Films watched the video, they offered her the role of Neha in ‘Ishtam’. Even before that film was released, she had signed four more films, including ‘Nuvve Nuvve’. But it was her 2002 hit film ‘Santosham’ that gained her major recognition, opening doors to many opportunities.

The star has acted in several well-known films like ‘Arjun’, ‘Chatrapathi’, ‘Sivaji’, ‘Oopiri’ and more in which she acted alongside major stars. She even had a lead role in Deepa Mehta’s acclaimed ‘Midnight’s Children’.

Shriya is the first actress and third celebrity to deliver a lecture at IIM-Ahmedabad. She had delivered a lecture on the marketing and branding of films.
Right now, the stunning lady is shooting for her next film ‘Naragasooran’ with Arvind Swami and Indrajith.
