Soori's 'Garudan' to be remade in Telugu with Bellamkonda Sreenivas as lead!

The Tamil film 'Garudan' starring Sooru, Sasikumar and Unni Mukundan was released in theatres on May 31 this year. The film received a lot of positive reviews and News 18 now reported that the film is set to be remade in Telugu. The Telugu remake will be directed by Vijay Kanakamedala and it will star Bellamkonda Srinivas in lead role. Nara Rojit and Manchu Manoj will be joining the cast in prominent roles. The movie will aslo star Anandhi, Aditi Shankar, Divya Pillai, Ajay, Vennela Kishore, Sandeep Rak and Sharath Lohithaswa.



The music for the film will be composed by Sricharan Pakala and the movie is likely scheduled for a release in January 2025. Telugu One reported that the film shooting has already begun and is going on a full scale. The lead actor Bellamkonda is said to have stopped all his other film commitments and is fully focussed to wrap up this film. He is busy with his film 'Tyson Naidu' directed by Sagar K Chandra.


Written and directed by RS Durai, 'Garudan' is a rural action drama and the story of the film focuses on two childhood friends and how they survive loyalty, betrayal and challenge to their confidence. The movie got praised by critics for its emotional quotient.
