Sreeleela was seen shaking a leg with Allu Arjun in the recently released dance number ‘Kissik’ from 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. The actress recently shared how she agreed to perform in the song and addressed the ongoing comparisons to Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s ‘Oo Antava’ from the prequel.

During a recent press conference for her upcoming film Robinhood, Sreeleela stated that the song ‘Kissik’ from 'Pushpa 2' will justify her decision. She mentioned that it is not a typical item song and believes there is a strong narrative reason behind it, which will become clear when the movie releases.

‘Kissik,’ composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who won a National Award for his composition in 'Pushpa: The Rise', has already generated buzz. Reports suggest that Sreeleela was paid Rs. 2 crore for the dance number, while Samantha received Rs. 5 crore for ‘Oo Antava’ in the prequel.

However, Sreeleela clarified that she has not discussed her remuneration with the producer yet. She has garnered praise for her captivating moves from celebrities such as Sobhita Dhulipala and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

'Pushpa 2: The Rule', directed by Sukumar, is set to hit theatres on December 5. The movie also features Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in key roles alongside Allu Arjun. Allu will reprise his role as Pushparaj, while Rashmika’s Srivalli and Fahadh’s SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS will also return to the screen.

Expectations are high for the film, as Allu Arjun won the National Award for Best Actor for 'Pushpa: The Rise', which became a box-office hit in 2021.
