In a post on social media, Odela insisted critics stop blaming assistant directors and writers for such leaks.

The director recently took to his X handle and wrote, "To whomever it may concern, నా సినిమాకే కాదు, ఎవరి సినిమా లో ఏ లీక్ అయినా ASSISTANT DIRECTORS or WRITERS ని blame చేయడం మానేస్తే better. These people are the future creators and their selfless contribution to cinema deserves utmost RESPECT! Change the habit of blaming it on actual hard-working film departments and learn to admit your greediness. I know the bastards who leaked my title and THEY ARE NOT FROM MY TEAM #THEPARADISE"

Odela expressed frustration over the situation, stating that he knew who leaked the title and confirmed that they were not part of his team. He called for a change in how people perceive leaks, suggesting that it’s often driven by greed rather than the actions of hardworking team members.

'The Paradise' marks Nani's second collaboration with Odela, following their successful film 'Dasara', which received critical acclaim.
