SS Rajamouli sends a warm message for fans ahead of animated series 'Baahubali: Crown of Blood' release

The new animated web series 'Baahubali: Crown of Blood' will start streaming on OTT platforms from May 17. Produced by director SS Rajamouli in collaboration with Sharad Devarajan and Shobu Yarlagadda, this series delves into the adventures of beloved characters such as Baahubali, Bhallaladeva, Sivagami, and Kattappa as they face new obstacles.

Ahead of its premiere, SS Rajamouli has shared a special video message for the fans on Instagram.
In the clip, Rajamouli says, “Hello, Namaskaram. For many fans who are asking when we are continuing the story of Baahubali, I am so happy to bring you Baahubali: Crown Of Blood that is going to come on Disney+ Hotstar and we are associated with Graphic India that also brought you The Legend Of Hanuman. 9 episodes coming to you and we all loved it, hope you like it. Thank you very much.”

While attending a recent event in Hyderabad to promote the animated series, Rajamouli was asked about the resemblance between Protagonist Amarendra Baahubali and Indian Cricketer MS Dhoni in the poster of the show. The director gave a tricky answer that it probably happened because they also love Dhoni as everybody, including him, is a big fan of the cricketer.

‘Baahubali’ franchise acted as one of the career-changing films for Prabhas. The actor gained a pan-Indian aura after the wide reach and commercial success of it. It also featured Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, and Nassar in main roles.
