Even on Monday, most of the theatres were flooded with audiences. According to the makers, the movie has managed to collect Rs 500 crore within 3 days of its release. Breathtaking story

'RRR' is a period action entertainer set in the backdrop of Adilabad. Set in 1920s India, this is a fictitious story about two revolutionaries Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju who, away from home, take it upon themselves to fight the British. RRR tells the story of Mali, a pre-teen girl from the Gond tribe of the Deccan forests, who is forcibly taken from her home and her parents to Delhi at the behest of Mrs Buxton, wife of the British Governor Scott Buxton. How Rama and Bheem meet, form a bond of contrived friendship, and take on British colonials, forms the crux of the magnum opus.

Jr NTR and Ram Charan's performance

Jr NTR and Ram Charan essaying the fictional roles of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju respectively are exemplary in their acting abilities. Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju's fictional characters are well-established, with a mutual purpose. Ram Charan, who had played an innocent, yet aggressive village boy in 'Rangasthalam', appears as a demonic, ruthless sepoy, who works under the oppressive British. NTR, on the other hand, whose introduction blows everyone's minds, is seen bringing down a huge tiger. His innocence reflects his tribe as he starts his journey to protect a little girl who goes missing. Ram Charan and NTR, whenever on the screen together, emote brotherhood, and patriotic values, subtly.

Stellar cast

SS Rajamouli has put forward a great ensemble of a cast in the movie. Alia Bhatt, in her limited role, has done a fantastic job. Olivia Morris, on the other hand, looks apt. Ajay Devgn's role is like icing on the cake, as his role imbibes patriotism as well as fortitude. Alison Doody very effectively plays her part as the obnoxious Lady Buxton, who demands to see Bheem on his knees and on not seeing enough blood offers a special whip to make him apologise. All actors have done a fantastic job at playing their respective characters.

Rajamouli's direction & Keeravani's music

Rajamouli's screenplay is tricky, yet neat. He deals with the subject, brilliantly, and emotes the patriotic essence of the story in a subtle manner. With an excellent, well-paced first half, the second half has some tiny flaws. The music of this movie is composed by MM Keeravani. All the songs are placed rightly, the most popular 'Naatu Naatu' takes the audience into a trance, as it passes the euphoric wave across.
