Talking about ''Sulthan'', apart from Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna, it also stars Napoleon, Lal, Yogi Babu, Satish, Hareesh Peradi, Nawab Shah, Arjai, Singampuli, Sendrayan and others. The filming of ''Sulthan'' began in March 2019 and was extensively shot in Chennai and Malaikkottai in Dindigul. The film marks the Kollywood debut of Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Karthi’ romantic interest. The technical crew of this film includes Vivek-Mervin for background score, Yuvan Shankar Raja for composing the tunes, Sathyan Sooryan for cinematography and Ruben for editing. Bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures, ''Sulthan'' is all set to hit the silver screens on April 2, 2021.
