‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’: The forthcoming biopic to release on the occasion of Dussehra?

Trying to cash in on the festive spirit, the makers of

‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’

have decided to release the film on the occasion of

Dussehra this year

. The forthcoming biopic was earlier slated to release in the summer, but due to delay in the filming, it has been postponed to Dussehra. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the same.

‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, is the

life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy

who revolted against the British East India Company (EIC) in 1846.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi

is reprising the role the popular freedom fighter, while Amitabh Bachchan is playing as Gosayi Venkanna, Sudeep as Avuku Raja, Vijay Sethupathi as Raaja Pandi, Nayanthara as Siddhamma, Tamannaah as Lakshmi and Jagapati Babu as Myra Reddy.

Recently, Anushka Shetty has reportedly been approached to play a pivotal role in the film. Rumours rife that she will have a special appearance in the film, but the reports are yet to be confirmed. ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ has been creating immense buzz as this is a trend of making biopics.
