Taxiwaala release postponed to June

', in which he plays a supporting role, Vijay is now hoping to continue the success with upcoming film

Taxiwaala

The film, which is being directed by Rahul Sankrityan, was initially scheduled for a worldwide release on May 18 but has now been postponed as it "requires a few finishing touches." The 'Arjun Reddy' star took to his social media page to reassure his fans that the film will be releasing shortly and that the wait will be worth their while.

"My rowdies, Nenu May 18th ki ravatle - sit tight for slightly longer to Scream! Shout! LaughOutLoud! coz we are giving this madcool film some final touches. Will announce the June Release date in a week. For now enjoy this pic of me sitting on my taxi and smiling �� #Taxiwaala (sic)," Vijay posted on his Twitter, along with an image of his from Taxiwaala.

Also featuring Malavika Nair as the female lead, the film is produced by GA2 Pictures and UV Creations.
